2G-detection

Operators are only allowed to enter guests if they can present a 2-G certificate. The guest must keep this proof available for the duration of the stay.

In the following cases, a 3-G certificate may also be presented for entering the accommodation facility:

  • 1. for the purpose of caring for and assisting persons in need of support,
  • 2. for immediate professional reasons,
  • 3. to satisfy an urgent housing need,
  • 4. by spa guests and accompanying persons in a spa institution, which is established in accordance with § 42a of the Hospital and Spa Act (KAKuG), BGBl. No. 1/1957, as accommodation with attached outpatient clinic according to § 2 para. 1 Z 5 KAKuG is organised,
  • 5. by patients and accompanying persons in a rehabilitation facility, which is operated as a lodging facility with attached outpatient clinic according to § 2 para. 1 Z 5 KAKuG is organised,
  • 6. by pupils for the purpose of school attendance and students for the purpose of study (boarding schools, apprentices' dormitories and student dormitories) for the period strictly necessary.

    Otherwise:

  • Guests must wear a mask, except when eating food and drink and while staying at the site of administration
  • Consumption of food and beverages not in the immediate vicinity of the point of issue
  • Food and drink may only be consumed while seated at administration sites
  • Self-service is permitted if special hygienic precautions can minimise the risk of infection
